Italian sausage and ricotta pizza

  • Makes 8 to 10 slices *

  • 1 ball of dough *

  • 1/3 of cup tomato sauce (see quick recipe, far right) *

  • 1/2 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved *

  • 4 spicy Italian sausages, chopped into small pieces *

  • 100g ricotta *

  • 1 tbsp freshly grated parmesan *

  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano leaves *

Heat the pizza stone at 250C for 10 minutes in oven. Knead the dough for a few minutes then roll out into a rectangular shape. Remove the pizza stone from the oven and, working quickly, place the base on the stone. Spread over tomato sauce and add the ingredients in order as listed. Cook at 250C for about 8 minutes until crisp.
