Long-wearing and low-maintenance, marine-grade stainless steel is the ideal material for outdoor areas.

"Number 316 marine-grade stainless steel is the best material to use outdoors as it will not absorb moisture like standard wooden cabinetry and is less likely to rust or mark," said Byron Hoy of Ferguson Corporation, designers of this Mariginiup alfresco kitchen.

The 7m kitchen features Western red cedar cabinetry, Caesarstone benchtops and a stunning wall feature comprised of mosaic tiles from Tiles Expo in Joondalup.

Custom-made by Ferguson, appliances include a 1800mm barbecue, complete with two 10mm-thick, solid stainless-steel 600mm teppanyaki hotplates and a 600mm stainless- steel char grill, gas pizza oven, canopy range hood and an upright single-door fridge with a remotely located motor on the rear wall to remove any fridge noise from the alfresco area.
