'Tis the season for eating and entertaining, so Today asked four TV celebrity chefs for an easy-to-prepare festive recipe.

They were more than happy to oblige with a selection of dishes that take you from starters to desserts with ease.

RECIPE: Caramel-Glazed Christmas Ham

150g soft brown sugar
50ml water
50g butter
1 red chilli - finely chopped
1cm knob ginger - finely grated
6 cloves garlic
1 smoked ham
6 spring onions

METHOD: Place the sugar and water in a frypan and heat until the sugar has melted, then cook until a light brown caramel colour is achieved. Then add butter, chilli, ginger and two cloves of finely chopped garlic. Remove the skin from the ham and score the fat.

Make several incisions into the ham and insert spring onion batons and remaining garlic cloves. Baste the ham with caramel and place in an oven set to 200C for 20-30 minutes, basting every five to 10 minutes until your ham is beautifully glazed.
