Paltrow creates ethical knits
Gwynneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow has designed two limited-edition sweaters for an ethical clothing label.

The actress has collaborated with British label Chinti and Parker to create two exclusive jumpers for her Goop website.

Paltrow joined forces with the brand's founders, cousins Anna Singh and Rachael Wood on the two highly desirable sweaters.

The Oscar-winning star first discovered the company on a guest edit shoot for Net-A-Porter. She became a fan of the statement knits in beautiful cashmere fabrics that form the label's backbone.

"Goop shares many ethical and stylistic values with Chinti and Parker, from a commitment to sustainability and better living to a love of timeless, beautifully made clothing," Singh explained to British newspaper the Telegraph.

"We are immensely privileged to have collaborated in this way and hope you love the pieces as much as we do."

The styles Paltrow has designed are elegant and classic. A thick Breton stripe with a blue breast pocket and elbow patches makes up the first, and the other a navy design adorned with a white heart print and red elbow patches.

The range follows in the footsteps of the style icon and trend setter's previous successes with similar ventures. Paltrow has already turned her hand to designing her limited-edition Goop jeans, and has collaborated with the likes of MiH jeans, hip New York Fashion Week label Rag & Bone and bikini guru Melissa Odabash.
