The Wheel LBD
Wheels & Dollbaby founder and designer Melanie Greensmith has created a one-off dress for Giving Back is the New Black.

It will also be the only show that Greensmith and her rocker partner, Mark McEntee, attend this year and Greensmith is making sure it will be a memorable one.

She tells AAA the black dress she has made for the event is inspired by Jessica Rabbit - and is so in love with the design, she has also made an oyster-coloured version just for herself to wear on the night.

A bite with Tyson
A PFF regular over the years, boss Malcolm Day attended the VIP Opening Night on Wednesday at the Perth Town Hall, but had to rush home to get ready to head to Las Vegas, where he was going to have a private dinner with boxing champ Mike Tyson last night.

Not only is Day a fan of Tyson in the boxing ring, he says The Hangover (in which Tyson has a memorable role) is his all-time favourite movie.

Last word in style
Also at the VIP opening, Lydia and Zhenya Tsvetnenko made one of their first public appearances together since Lydia found out she was pregnant with their first child.

The couple revealed to AAA the expected arrival date for their baby will be Australia Day.

Lydia and her Zhivago designer partner Lara Kovacevich are not showing a full collection at Perth Fashion Festival this year, but have created a dress exclusively for the VIP closing night to be held in the ballroom at Government House next Tuesday night.
