It attracted celebrities such as Mel B, Grant Bowler and Nicole Trunfio last year and this year Perth socialite Bree Maddox will again play host to VIPs at her venue The Court Hotel during Perth Fashion Festival.

The former Penthouse Pet-turned businesswoman will transform part of the venue into the Peroni Apertivo Bar, which will welcome fashionistas flocking in from events at the nearby WA Museum.

Maddox tells AAA she is looking forward to seeing who might make an appearance at the bar this year.

"Mel B had so much fun when she was here (last year)," Maddox says.

"She was sitting in the VIP area just loving everyone coming to talk to her. We love seeing crazy people down here.

"Weird, wild, wonderful - it doesn't really matter how famous you are as long as you're here to have fun."

Maddox has long been an avid supporter of PFF and is planning on attending almost every event on the 2012 calendar.

She says she will be donning a different look each night and is busy organising outfits in advance.

"I've tried to keep it really new with the styling," Maddox says.

"It's always interesting to see what comes out of my wardrobe. Even I don't know what things are going to turn out like sometimes.

"I like having the confidence to try new things and be a bit left of centre in what I wear."

Helping her decision will be dresses bought on a recent trip to Europe which, after her March split with AdultShop boss Malcolm Day, she did partially alone.

Maddox says travelling solo around Italy was one of the best things she had done.

"I didn't realise how much I'd enjoy travelling alone until I did it, and it was quite a scary prospect at first thinking I was going to do it," she says.

"I came back feeling so alive and so energised from the trip.

"I'm really enjoying this open-ended future right now."
