Madonna is teaming up with footwear brand Aldo to design her own shoe collection.
The pop superstar made her first foray into fashion in 2010 by launching Material Girl, a brand aimed at young females, with her teenage daughter Lourdes.
She is now working on a more grown-up label called Truth or Dare, which will eventually include fragrances, clothes, accessories and lingerie.
Madonna will kickstart her new business with a footwear line, created in conjunction with Aldo.
"Her fingers are really on this brand. The first thing I did was remind her of all the shoes she wore over the years, and we took the styles that we can't live without," Madonna's long-time stylist, Arianne Phillips, who is acting as creative consultant on the line, told WWD.
The shoe collection will include 60 styles from boots to high heels and will range in price from $US89 ($85) to $US349.
Select venues will feature the new shoe collection, including luxury UK department store Selfridges. They will create a pop-up shop promoting Madonna's Truth or Dare brand.
The brand will be aimed at women aged 27 to 50.
