Anzac Day 2015: Plan ahead
Returned & Services League (RSL) branches across Perth and regional Western Australia are preparing to commemorate 100 years since the dawn landing at Gallipoli during World War I.
With more than 100,000 people are expected to attend services in Kings Park and Perth on Anzac Day, the RSL advises people to plan ahead.

A number of roads will be closed and traffic detours will be in place for the Dawn Service, Parade and Commemorative Service.
There will be limited parking and seating available at the Dawn Service for people who are aged or infirm.

This service is only available to ACROD pass holders or people who are aged or infirm. Parking for pass holders will be in the Wadjuk and Kulbardi car parks.
St John Ambulance warns people attending Anzac Day services to stay hydrated and use sun protection, despite the cooler weather. For those requiring medication, St John's says to ensure medication is taken
prior to the event and/or packed to take. The large number of people expected in the city will mean the aged and infirm will need to plan for possible delays.
There will be first aid posts at all CBD events on April 25.
The RSL is also calling for volunteer Appeal Collectors to raise funds during the Anzac Day Parade.
The money raised will be used to help those in need including both serving and former members of the Australian Defence Forces. Working in pairs and in a stationary position, volunteers will be required to collect donations in the Perth CBD, the Perth Train Station and other points along the parade route.
