CCTV clues to bash witnesses

Police have released CCTV pictures of people they believe can help identify a person who bashed a man in Subiaco early yesterday morning.

A 29-year-old Kingsley man is fighting for his life after he was assaulted.

About 12.20am on Saturday morning, police were called to Hay Street where a man had reportedly been punched in the head.

The 29-year-old was rushed to hospital and placed an induced coma.

Detectives would like to speak to a number of people who they believe may be able to assist with this investigation.

"Of the group, we have descriptions of five of them, however we would like to speak to anyone in the group of people in the vision," a police spokesman said this morning.

Person 1 – Male, wearing a black long sleeve jacket with white under hood.
Person 2 – Male, wearing denim vest with long sleeve light coloured arms

Person 4 – Female, wearing a bright yellow dress

Person 5 – Female, wearing a white top and tight black pants

"We are asking members of this group to come forward and make contact with the detectives via Crime Stoppers," police said.
