Lancelin jet ski rider injured

A man has been airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital after being injured in a jet ski accident in Lancelin this morning.

Emergency authorities were called to a beach at the southern end of Lancelin, near Fisher Street, about 11am.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said a 27-year-old man was injured during a fall from a jet ski.

The rescue helicopter was on the ground by 11.45am and transferred the injured rider to hospital.

“It’s probably more precautionary but you can’t be too careful with these incidents,” the spokesman said.
