Police dogs were used to track down three teenagers thought to be linked to a burglary at a bowling club overnight.

Officers were called to the Victoria Park Bowling Club on Kent Street shortly after midnight and found a number of smashed windows.

Property was missing and the bar area of the club had been rifled through, police spokeswoman Sgt Naomi Smith said.

Police dogs were used to track down three teenagers, two 16-year-old girls and a 15-year-old boy discovered behind a nearby business.

A stolen Audi was also found nearby.

The three teenagers are currently helping police with inquiries into the theft, police said.
