New Dockers deals for Mayne, Dawson
New Dockers deals for Mayne, Dawson

Fremantle forward Chris Mayne has re-signed with the AFL club for a further three seasons, while defender Zac Dawson has signed on until the end of 2015.

Mayne booted 39.7 last season, and reclaimed his place in the Dockers’ leadership group earlier this year after being left out in 2012.

His new deal takes him through to the end of the 2016 campaign.

Dawson played 14 games for Hawthorn and 63 for St Kilda before arriving at the Dockers last year.

The 27-year-old featured 18 times for the Dockers last year as part of a strong defensive unit that also included Luke McPharlin and Michael Johnson.
