Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash on the Mitchell Freeway yesterday they believe may have been filmed.

The crash happened about 2.10pm when a light blue Toyota Camry sedan that was travelling north in the emergency lane lost control and crashed into a guard rail.

The crash occurred near the train line, just after the Erindale Road exit.

The driver was not seriously injured.

Police believe someone may have filmed the vehicle just before the crash or captured the crash itself.

That person or anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
