Police are appealing for witnesses to two armed robberies at bottle shops in Perth's northern suburbs this month.
The first robbery happened about 8.15pm on February 16 at a liquor store on East Road, Hocking.
A man went into the shop armed with a knife, while there were two employees and two customers in the store, and demanded money.
He was given cash from the cash register and left.
The offender was described as being 173cm to 175cm tall, solidly built with fair skin and an Australian accent.
He was wearing a balaclava with a distinctive white print on the back, cream gloves, a dark top and denim jeans.
The second robbery happened at a liquor store on Marina Boulevard, Ocean Reef, about 8pm on February 26.
Again the offender went into the shop armed with a knife and demanded money.
He was given cash from the till and ran from the store.
The offender was wearing a balaclava with a distinctive white print on the back, cream gloves, a grey hooded jumper and denim jeans.
In both robberies the offender is believed to have left in a small vehicle, possibly a hatchback, and police believe the two incidents may be linked.
