Police are appealing for public help to find a silver Holden Commodore that was stolen from a home in Kelmscott overnight.

The keys to the vehicle were taken when a person broke into the Stevington Street home about 2.20am.

The owner of the car was at home but was not injured.

The registration of the stolen car is 1DKO230 and the offender was last seen driving towards River Road.

Anyone who sees the vehicle asked to contact police on 131 444.
