Police are appealing for public help to find the people who set fire to a house in West Busselton at the weekend.

About 2.30am on Saturday, police spotted a house ablaze on Whitton Street.

The fire destroyed most of the house, which was unoccupied at the time.

Detectives believe it was an act of arson.

Anyone with information or anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
