The Greens (WA) today launched their campaign for the 2013 State election with a promise to build a cleaner, more sustainable, more affordable and more caring WA.

The party is running on a platform of True Progress and has pledged to run a positive campaign.

The Greens say they are focusing on eight key policy areas – transport, renewable energy, housing affordability, education, water, environment, mental health and employment.

Greens MLC Giz Watson said True Progress meant looking after the needs of the community; sharing the benefits of the mining boom more fairly; building reliable public transport networks; making housing more affordable; investing in renewables; protecting our water resources; and taking real action on climate change.
