Man s jaw broken in Midland assault

A 28-year-old man was knocked unconscious and his jaw was fractured in an assault outside the Eastern Hotel in Midland.

About 11.30pm on Friday January 4, the victim was standing outside of the hotel when a group of four men approached him and they began to argue.

One of the men ran at the victim and struck him on the side of the head, he fell to the ground unconscious.

The offenders fled from the scene in what is believed to be a silver hatchback

The victim was taken to hospital and treated for a fractured jaw.

Detectives are keen to speak with a group of men who were pictured in security vision taken near the hotel.
