Great-gran killed in SW crash
An 85-year-old great-grandmother was one of three people killed in crashes across WA at the weekend.
Coolup woman Shirley Margaret Birch, a life member of St John Ambulance, died on Saturday at an intersection in the small community south of Pinjarra.
Police believe she drove her Toyota Corolla into the path of a Toyota LandCruiser on Maryfield Road about 4.30pm.
Granddaughter Michelle Alexander told Seven News her grandmother had been a "pillar of the community".
Ms Birch leaves behind eight children, 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
A man was killed in a truck rollover on Great Northern Highway, near the Calingiri-New Norcia Road, about 12.45pm yesterday.
On Saturday, a 32-year-old Halls Creek man died when the vehicle he was driving rolled on the Great Northern Highway near MacPhee Creek in the Kimberley about 2pm.
