A 29-year-old Marmion man has had two of his vehicles impounded after separate incidents last night.

About 7.45pm the man was stopped on Duncraig Road in Duncraig allegedly driving an unregistered Holden Commodore.

Officers from the traffic enforcement group impounded the vehicle after discovering the man had a cancelled probationary driver’s licence.

About four hours later, the man was spotted again allegedly riding a Suzuki motorcycle on West Coast Highway in Scarborough.

Both vehicles were impounded for 28 days.

The man has been summonsed for two counts of false plates, an unregistered vehicle and two counts of no authority to drive.

He will appear in court at a later date.
