Police are searching for a man who carried out inappropriate acts in front of a group of young girls at a Bunbury beach yesterday.

The girls, aged between 10 and 11, were swimming at Dalyellup Beach about midday when they were approached by the man.

He blew kisses at the group before making lewd gestures and carrying out inappropriate acts in their view.

Police believe a man who was seen in the area can help with their investigation.

He is described as about 180cm tall with fair but tanned skin, a medium build, short dark hair and a moustache.

The man was carrying fishing equipment and was wearing a blue polo shirt with a black lined pattern, blue shorts and a blue wide-brimmed hat.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
