Australian cricket legend Shane Warne and his movie-star partner Liz Hurley have landed in Perth ahead of his side's Big Bash clash with the Perth Scorchers tomorrow.

Warne will captain the Melbourne Stars against the Scorchers at the WACA after both sides suffered a loss in the first round of the domestic Twenty20 competition.

The pair declined to talk to media at Perth Airport but Hurley has since tweeted her thoughts on her first visit to Perth.

"Just had a look around the WACA! What a beautiful ground," she said.

"Weather stunning here, too."
