Hunt for armed Joondalup man

Police are seeking information about an incident in Joondalup in which a man attempted to enter a business while carrying a weapon.

A man in disguise approached a business on Delage Street at about 10.45pm on November 26.

The receptionist locked the door when she realised the man carrying a weapon, believed to be a firearm.

The offender ran away and about 10 minutes later a man wearing similar clothing entered the business and briefly spoke to staff before leaving.

He is described as being in his 20s and about 180cms tall with a slim build.

He was wearing a black mask, a dark blue hooded jumper, dark cargo pants and white shoes.
