The weather bureau has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for damaging wind, large hail and heavy rainfall for the Gascoyne and Central West districts.

The warning was for people in parts of WA bounded by Three Rivers to Paynes Find, Dalwallinu, Jurien Bay, Gascoyne Junction and Three Rivers. This includes people in or near Jurien Bay and Dalwallinu.

"People are advised that there is a risk of severe thunderstorms developing early afternoon and continuing into this evening."
