Father Thomas Henry Byrne appeared in the Perth Magistrate's Court charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm over the alleged attack on his neighbour at a Dianella complex on November 8.

He was charged after he allegedly bit off the ear of Father Thomas Joseph Cameron over an alleged dispute about a car park at the complex.
