Former Docker joins the Dogs

Former Fremantle midfielder Nick Lower has signed with the Western Bulldogs as a delisted free agent for season 2013, after two seasons with the Dockers and Perth.

Lower, 25, was delisted last month with an undertaking by Fremantle that they might redraft him through the pre-season or rookie drafts, but he chose to join the Bulldogs after training with them.

"I'm really over the moon. I couldn't be happier," Lower told westernbulldogs.com.au.

"I really was pretty unsure with what would happen in the future, but I couldn't be happier to have landed at the Western Bulldogs."

It will be Lower's third club. The South Australian was at Port Adelaide for four seasons (20 games) before he arrived at Fremantle. He played 19 matches in 2011 but only three this year as he battled injury, including concussion.
