Update, 11.05am: A 32-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was glassed at Crown Casino early this morning.

Police were called to the casino in Burswood about 3am regarding a fight between two men which had begun as a verbal stoush later escalating to a physical fight.

It appears one man was struck in the face with a glass, causing lacerations.

A 29-year-old Thornlie man has been charged with unlawful wounding and is due to appear in Perth Magistrate's Court on December 18.
