A man was taken to hospital after he was attacked and robbed by a group of men in Karawara last night.

A police spokesman said the victim, a 26-year-old Manning man, was walking to the shops along Walanna Drive about 9.15pm when he was abused by four men in a white Falcon sedan.

He said the offenders got out of the vehicle and punched and kicked the man, hitting him with an iron bar and stealing his wallet.

The man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
