Concerns for missing FIFO worker
Colin Meredith.

Police have concerns for the welfare of a 61-year-old fly-in, fly-out worker who went missing a week ago.

They are searching for Colin Meredith, who was last seen at the Silver Sands Resort in Mandurah when he checked out last Tuesday.

He was due to start work in Newman that day but did not show up.

Police say he may be driving a blue Toyota Corolla hatchback he hired from a Welshpool car rental agency. The car’s registration is 1DOZ814.

Mr Meredith is about 175cm tall with a fair complexion, solid build and grey hair.

He has not made contact with family members since October 15, which relatives say is out of character.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 131 444.
