Police are searching for the owner of an antique watch they recovered in a raid on a property in the Perth metropolitan area.
A police spokesman said the watch was found when police executed a search warrant.
The watch has a personal engraving on the back that appears to have been done in the 1940s.
While the watch is of little monetary value, police believe it would be of great sentimental value to its owner.
They have been using social media websites to spread the word about the watch in an attempt to return it.
Anyone who recognises the timepiece and can provide details of what is engraved on the back is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
