Police hunt Wembley sex attacker

A 21-year-old woman was grabbed by the throat, dragged into bushes and sexually assaulted while walking through Wembley – the sixth random sex attack in the past six months.

Sex assault squad detectives have made a plea for information on the latest attack which occurred about 10pm on August 24 as the victim was walking on Alexander Street near Ruislip Street.

The woman was traumatised by the attack but did not suffer any serious injuries.

She told police her attacker was up to 180cm tall with a skinny build and fair complexion, and was wearing a dark hoody and black parachute-style tracksuit pants.
