The man wanted by police.

Police are hunting for a man who twice threatened staff at an ANZ bank in Floreat, claiming he was armed.

In the most recent incident the man entered the bank on The Boulevard yesterday about 11.30am.

Wearing a scarf wrapped around his head the man talked to staff before leaving empty handed.

In the second incident, on Friday May 11, a man fitting the same description entered the bank about 1.35pm, collected a ticket and sat down until he was called.

The man demanded money from the teller, claiming he had a gun in his pocket.

He was given a sum of money by staff and left the bank.

He is described as being in his 30s, with fair complexion, approximately 180cms tall, medium build with dark eyebrows and a deep voice.

He was wearing a blue hooded jumper.

Anyone who may have seen the man in the area on either occasion, or has any information regarding these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
