A man was glassed during a brawl at a Subiaco nightclub and four bouncers were assaulted at a Fremantle pub in a separate incident overnight.

A police spokesman said an argument started between two groups of men at the Flawless Nightclub in Subiaco about 11pm.

A man was then struck to the head with a glass or a bottle, sparking a wild brawl between the groups, during which a glass was thrown at a wall, smashing and showering onlookers with glass.

The men involved in the fight were thrown out of the nightclub by security and the victim of the glassing was taken to hospital for treatment to minor cuts.

Meanwhile, at the Sail and Anchor pub in Fremantle four security guards were assaulted by patrons.

The spokesman said it was believed a group of men were fighting in the pub when a bouncer approached the group and was hit to the head with a glass or a bottle.

When a second bouncer tried to intervene she was knocked to the ground and several people punched and kicked her.

Two other bouncers were also assaulted as the group involved in the fight left the pub. Police arrested several people over the incident but no charges have yet been laid.

The first two bouncers to be assaulted were treated at Fremantle Hospital.

Anyone with information on either of the two incidents is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
