Erin swoops in for PFF

Just over a year into her career as a professional model, Perth's Erin Hannah is loving life in the fashion fast lane.

The 27-year-old, the girlfriend of Sydney-based rocker William Zeglis, relocated to the east coast last year to be closer to her beau and take her career to the next level.

"It's been fun, exciting and very busy," Hannah told AAA about living in Australia's fashion capital.

Though she misses the comforts of home, the Nedlands-born beauty is enjoying the exciting opportunities Sydney has to offer despite the increased competition.

"I'm holding my own," she said. "There are a lot more girls but you just have to roll with the punches."

While Zeglis is in New York recording with his band the Rubens, Hannah has returned to town to participate in her second Telstra Perth Fashion Festival and is particularly excited to walk for her favourite local label, One Fell Swoop.

"It's going to be a busy week because I'm walking every night but I think the best show will be One Fell Swoop," she enthused.

Soon after launching her modelling career, Hannah connected with One Fell Swoop's Daniel Romanin and Nikolina Ergic and became fast friends with the stylish pair.

Working with the in-demand model is a dream for 30-year-old Ergic, who loves Hannah's adaptability from season to season.

"She has a look that is very versatile and, with our collections, each season changes a bit and Erin adapts and evolves with it," Ergic explained.

Hitting the runway tonight for 3,300 Miles Apart alongside iconic New Zealand labels Zambesi and NOM*d, One Fell Swoop will present a more colourful range than it has offered in previous years.

"I love the pinks and the blue they've used; it's so eye catching," Hannah said of the new look for the brand.

"When you look at the collection in a row when the models come out you will be blown away. It's unique and colourful as well as being classic and chic."
