WA waiters, chefs and dishwashers could get their 15 minutes of fame and be paid for it.

Upcoming TV show Restaurant Revolution is hiring staff to help run pop-up restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.

“We need chefs, wait staff, dishies ... and anyone keen to work for real money in the restaurant industry,” the ad for the Seven reality show reads.

For the series, which will be hosted by Adelaide chef Jock Zonfrillo, below, five teams from around the country will design and run their own pop-up restaurant. Each week, they’ll be judged by a group of experts, their customers and also on their profit margin.

The most profitable restaurant of the series will win $200,000.

A spokeswoman for Seven said staff would be paid industry- award rates to work in the restaurants and there was a chance that they would be on television.

“The show will be about the teams running the restaurants but they will be meeting with staff and wait staff will be seen in the background,” the representative said.

The restaurants will open next month and the hiring process for the Perth pop-up will begin on Saturday at 103-105 Oxford Street, Leederville, from 9am.
