Ignorant swimmers and dangerous currents are a deadly combination that make the job of a lifeguard that bit harder. Although it is part and parcel of their line of work, you have to hand it to the boys at Bondi Beach for having the patience to put up with it day-in, day-out. In this episode, the stupidity of one swimmer - a foreigner with no clue about the dangers of Australian waters - results in a frantic rescue mission for lifeguard Matty. Even more frustrating is the fact that, despite the imminent danger of being slammed into nearby rocks, the swimmer has no idea why he's being rescued. Back on shore there's plenty of action unfolding, with the boys undertaking a dramatic resuscitation before tending to a woman who has collapsed at a nearby cafe.
