This is an outstanding show aimed at teenagers that is intriguing enough to cast a spell over adults as well.
It was a breakout hit when it began last year and the second season looks like carrying on the high standards of the first, which saw four teenage boys lost in an alternative universe.
The four - a geek, a jock, an outsider and an average guy - have returned home, where they are at the centre of a media storm.
They now possess supernatural abilities based around the elements of fire, earth, air and water.
The small-town bush setting with its towering eucalypt trees adds atmosphere and the usual teen dilemmas are skilfully entwined with the paranormal.
Episode two immediately follows on ABC3 at 6.30pm.
