TODAY, 5.30PM, NAT GEO ADVENTURE Preparing food for the 500-plus passengers on one Airbus A380 can take a team of 30 people. This show is made in the Zurich kitchens of Singapore Airlines' caterer Gate Gourmet. The preparation looks very slick and the ingredients of good quality but nothing can take away from the fact that this is pre-packaged airline food which will be zapped to something close to boiling in a galley. Down the back of the bus, it is never haute cuisine no matter how fancy it might sound on passengers' menus.
