_TODAY, 10.30PM, TEN _

In a summer of endless repeats, it seems wrong to waste this quirky little Kiwi comedy in a late time slot. While it is not roll-on-the-

floor funny, it is amusing and the storyline is certainly different. Lucy Schmidt, who co-created and wrote the show, plays Shelley Bowman, a single sculls rower who once won a swag of world titles. Now she is 65kg heavier and couch bound. When her mother Bev (Jennifer Ludlam) and cousin Eliot (Jesse Griffin) stage an intervention, she vows to get back in the boat - but it sinks. Shelley realises she has no choice, if she is to stage a comeback she has to apologise to her former coach and lover Paul (Joel Tobeck) and get him back on Team Bowman.
