Frustrated actress Melissa George will have one less show to talk about after her latest series Hunted was axed by the BBC.
George, who has taken offence with the Australian media for continuing to link her with Home and Away, had recently talked about a second series of the UK-produced spy drama being set in Berlin.
But there will be no second season.
BBC1 has cancelled the show because of ailing ratings, according to London's Mirror online.
Audience numbers during the first six episodes fell from 4.5 million to 2.6 million after viewers struggled to understand the plot.
"It hasn't found the mainstream audience it was hoped," the BBC said.
SBS television still plans to screen the series starting on November 24 at 8.30pm.
George plays spy Samantha Hunter in Hunted, which was written and created by Frank Spotnitz who produced and wrote The X Files.
