Humour is always the best way to tackle an embarrassing subject and this show does it by using puppets to discuss genital herpes.
Yes, you read correctly. Three anonymous Australians, voiced through funny-looking puppets, candidly share the struggle of living and loving with the taboo herpes virus.
If you're not rolling on the floor with laughter within the first five minutes, there is something wrong with your funny bone. Best are the re-enactments - puppets are pictured getting frisky with humans, another is subjected to a gynaecological examination.
ut behind the humour is a serious issue - one in eight Australians has genital herpes and the majority of people who have the incurable virus don't know, so anything that alleviates the stigma is positive. The show's creators should be commended for their ingenuity.
