A Queensland vet and a Victorian accountants manager - both men - were the last contestants to enter the Big Brother compound on the Gold Coast on Wednesday night.

The arrival of veterinarian Ray, 25, and accounts manager Benjamin, 32, makes it an even split of seven men and women among the 14 housemates.

In all there are five housemates from Queensland, four from NSW, three from Victoria and one each from WA and SA.

Eighteen-year-old computer geek Bradley is the youngest housemate, while Benjamin, 32, is the oldest.

The Nine Network series, which was launched on Monday night, runs for 12 weeks and the winner receives $250,000.

One of the twists of this season's Big Brother is that each of the male housemates has a secret.

It was revealed on Tuesday night's show that either model Ryan, 21, or mining electrician George, 25, is a multi-millionaire but the secret was blown on social media on Wednesday.

The other secrets include one of the men having the IQ of a genius. Another has been fired from every job and another is a juvenile offender.

The remaining house mates are singer Josh, 28, advertising copywriter Michael, 26, singer Charne, 31, travel sales rep Angie, 21, beautician Layla, 24, car saleswoman Sarah, 30, advertising account manager Stacey, 24, student Zoe, 23, and public servant Estelle, 23.
