Johnny Ruffo finally gave his female fans what they wanted on Seven's Dancing with the Stars last night, emerging without a shirt for the second dance of the evening.
The Perth-raised X Factor finalist went bare-chested except for a bolero for his paso doble routine with dance partner Luda Kroitor, pictured right, a move which sent followers on Twitter into a spin.
In an instant dance challenge, Ruffo had only 30 minutes to learn the routine after finding out the music during the show.
The judges were impressed with the singer's ability to perform under pressure, with Josh Horner saying Ruffo was "phenomenal".
Horner also hinted that he was expecting to see Ruffo go further in the competition. "You might see yourself in the grand final," Horner said.
Rocker Brian Mannix wasn't so lucky, though. The Uncanny X-Men frontman was eliminated from the competition after a string of comedic dances which often won over the judges despite Mannix's lack of technique.
"Everyone knows you are not the best dancer in the competition but you are horrifically entertaining," judge Todd McKenney said earlier in the show.
Mannix joked of his elimination: "I think this is the biggest upset since Kerri-Anne (Kennerley) left.
"TV ratings are going to go right down now."
It will be a tight race to the grand final in two weeks time for the four remaining contestants - Ruffo, actress Zoe Crammond, former AFL star Brendan Fevola and singer-songwriter Danielle Spencer.
