Dicko wins Celebrity Apprentice
Dicko wins Celebrity Apprentice

Forget his success on The Celebrity Apprentice Australia; Nine has robbed *Ian "Dicko" Dickson *of a precious moment with his daughter. The network took the wind out of its own sails by accidentally leaking online a video of Dicko taking the Celebrity Apprentice title 24 hours ahead of last night's episode.

While Dicko is happy to shrug off the mistake, you can hear the disappointment in his voice as he talks about the punch being stolen from his win.

"Look, it was an unfortunate mistake and I hope no one lost their job over it. Though had that happened on Apprentice, you would have been fired, my son," laughs Dicko. "I was a little upset though to be honest - I hadn't told my family, and I was really looking forward to sitting down for the announcement and sharing that moment with my daughter. I was deprived of that because someone pressed the wrong button."

Up against model *Nathan Jolliffe *in the final, it seems the gift - or was that the curse - of the gab has followed Jolliffe after his win on Seven's The Amazing Race Australia was accidently alluded to by *Lara Bingle *in a radio interview before the finale aired. Jolliffe gave the final challenge his all and despite his friendship with Dicko, the pair went head to head, each producing a music video and a performance of their jointly composed charity song. But for Dicko, it wouldn't have mattered who had won.

"Nathan did a remarkable job in the finale. I was so proud of him. If he had won he would have deserved it and no one would have been prouder and more pleased than me," said Dicko, who employed the singing talents of WA girl *Morgan Joanel *for his challenge.

After hitting a bit of a slump last year and discovering that hosting his own show, Can of Worms, wasn't for him, Dicko needed to re-assess his place as an on-screen talent. Strategically, he made the choice to jump on The Celebrity Apprentice bandwagon. What did he learn? "I don't know where to from here but it turns out I am the ultimate reality (TV) slut."

Nine has confirmed The Celebrity Apprentice Australia will return for a third series.
