Monae to tour with Kimbra
Janelle Monae will tour Australia in May with Kimbra.
Janelle Monae and Kimbra will perform The Golden Electric Tour soul revue.
The two first got together at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland in July 2013.
The Golden Electric Tour will see Monae and Kimbra perform individually and together during the show.
The US R&B and soul singer stunned the music world with her debut album, The ArchAndroid, in 2010. Monae followed that up with The Electric Lady, featuring guest performances by Prince, Erykah Badu and Solange.
Kimbra, together with Gotye, had the global hit with Somebody That I Used To Know . The New Zealand singer has also collaborated with Daniel Johns, John Legend and Matt Bellamy.
General public tickets for The Golden Electric Tour go on sale on April 16.
