Aussie actor Rachel Griffiths has been cast in the film about the story behind the making of the movie classic Mary Poppins.
Saving Mr Banks is based on the 14 years Walt Disney spent trying to persuade Australian author PL Travers to agree to have her children's novels about a magical nanny made into a movie.
Griffiths joins Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson who will star in the Disney drama, according to entertainment website The Hollywood Reporter.
Also cast are Colin Farrell, as Travers's father, Ruth Wilson as his wife, while Griffiths will play Travers's aunt who was the model for Poppins.
The shooting locations include Disneyland, Anaheim, and it's expected to wrap-up by the end of November.
