The WA Academy of Performing Arts graduate dance company Link is celebrating a decade of dance with its production Diversify at the Fremantle Arts Centre.

The promenade performance uses the historic and atmospheric indoor spaces and grounds of the centre with works by choreographers Jo Pollitt, Sue Peacock, Jacob Lehrer, Kim McCarthy and Link artistic director Michael Whaites, who is also performing alongside his ensemble.

"These talented dancers, working together with Perth's leading choreographers, promise an immersive experience of unique contemporary dance," Whaites says of Diversify, which ends on Saturday.

Link offers tertiary dance graduates a one-year postgraduate program as a transition between training and professional life. It was established in 2002 by Chrissie Parrott as a WAAPA research project and has evolved into an ongoing resident company focused on new works.
