Gossip blogger Perez Hilton has finally spoken out about his heated Twitter feud with Lady Gaga.

Speaking to Howard Stern, Hilton said the former friends parted ways after Gaga's success made her increasingly paranoid and fame-obsessed.

"She had this album called The Fame Monster," he said.

"She kind of became a victim of that (and) became a monster herself."

Hilton also claimed the Paparazzi singer stormed out of an interview after he asked her about controversy surrounding her single Judas and her love life.

"She straight up stopped the interview and stormed off," he said.

"I couldn't believe my so-called friend would (do that)."

Despite the feud, Hilton admitted the flamboyant performer was "clearly talented", but felt she'd used him to get more media coverage.

He said he was still upset about the way their friendship ended.

"I feel really sad and hurt," he said.

"I'm Cuban. I'm loyal."

On Tuesday, he tweeted a link to a tabloid article based on Stern's interview with the caption: "No feud. Just the truth."

Hilton and the popstar's relationship soured last August when Gaga accused him of stalking her.

She then claimed Hilton sent her a nasty text message after she sustained a hip injury that left her wheelchair-bound.

"Still have the text Perez sent me of me in a wheelchair w (with) the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me. Day of my accident," she tweeted.

For his part, Perez told Stern he never stalked Gaga, although he did look at an apartment in the building as her New York base.

But he said he didn't know she even lived there.
