She might not be the next global pop star but Miranda Kerr has proved that she's more than just a pretty face and can hold a decent note.

The Aussie supermodel features in Irish-born performer Bobby Fox's latest single You're The Boss, a cover of the original duet performed by Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret that was cut from 1964 flick Viva Las Vegas for being "too sexy".

On the jazzy new single, which was released yesterday, the 30-year-old Kerr can be heard crooning seductively along with Fox and manages to pull through the entire track on key.

The music video for the Fox/Kerr rendition of You're The Boss was shot in New York in October and will debut on Seven's Sunday Night program on May 4.

Kerr has termed it not a "career change" but rather just "a bit of fun".
