Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig says she would like to apologise for her wild child past.
The actress was an out of control teenager who would play truant from school. Although she might have got into trouble as a youngster, her hell raising days are now behind her.
"I went through my rebellious stage in my teens. There was a period when I got into trouble but nothing major. We all have those periods - you do stupid things when you're young, like sneaking out of the house or making prank phone calls," she told UK magazine Look.
"I'm not going to talk about the things that I did, because I'm not that person anymore, and... I apologise to anyone from that period of time who I might have upset."
Wiig was not a natural performer as a child and finds it strange that people thought she was humorous at school as she was never a big joker growing up.
"I've never thought of myself as a funny person. People expect me to talk in voices and be hilarious... people are generally disappointed in me," she said."[As a youngster] I wasn't into acting at all. I was too nervous and shy. I went through my yearbook recently and I was very surprised that people had written about me being funny, but I was never the class clown. I think people who knew me well thought I was funny - silly is probably a better word."
